Original Item:   Using modern stamped-steel construction, this signal pistol retains the classic early look of the "blunderbuss" belled muzzle.  The purpose of the bell is to protect the operator's hands from burning powder grains.  Standard British signal pistol of WW2.  M601 mark on hammer indicates manufacture by I.L. Berridge & Co., Leicester.  SN111XXX.  Flares not included.
